We were ouy musky fishing this summer and saw some dude out along the creek. He was stacking the rocks up and there was someone takeing pics nd movie of him doing it. I dont know whay but we almost god taken out by a brig truck becuase there was 2 cars parked on ech side of the road.

those look much smaller than the ones we saw, we saw them in Tionesta Creek and 2 at the edge of Blue Jay Run.

That looks like the result of bored fishermen during a low water time!
 
Actually, I was travelling through from Blue Jay in early September and there was a couple of school vans parked at the new bridge and a bunch of what looked like high school kids in the water wearing waders. I figured a biology class on a field trip.

they aren't made by aliens lol, but they are people who have a lot of time on their hands lol

the ones that I have seen when traveling through Ontario are small, and usually on large rocks and boulders a long the highway. read about them on the wikipedia link that I posted above.
I read this morning that some of the parks in Canada have had to ask people to stop building them, because they are building way too many and confusing people in some areas where they actually use them to mark paths.

the ones in the pictures here are just piles of rocks.  the ones in canada are cool. 
ive heard the same thing about the prov. parks asking people to stop making them.  but for different reasons.  if you drive 400 north past the muskokas they're everywhere.

yeah we drive up 400 to 522 and then head east to Lost Channel, a friend of ours has a cottage there on the Kawigamog, thats how we knew they were inuksuks
