just to mess with your mind: ice is 18" thick. wedged between rock cliffs below webbs ferry, can go nowhere. temp drops from 21* to -21* overnite. will it expand ,n, arch a bit?lifting off water? just wonderin. bored to tears here ,n, doc won,t let me go icefishing yet. dum bass.

Once ice freezes at 32 degrees it stops expanding and start to contract. So an overnight temperature of below freezing temps would not cause ice to arch but rather shrink and drop.
