Yes I cannot imagine that.  Was it a newbie right out of the academy from NYC or something.   I will ay though at least a) he let you plead your case and b) he admitted he did not know and was not a fisherperson.   Some of these guys have either had enough bs from the entire season and just are sick of it or compete Richardheads to begin with

This officer was no rookie having well over ten years with DEC and other police agencies.  This event was well before the peak season in the second week of September 2011.
Clint, you might have the same fly in your collection.  It is in the bunch I sent you summer before last before your trip to Sacandaga.
