Apparently there was an Atlantic caught out of Kinzua lol. Keep in mind you don't need any proof of the catch for that angler award thing, so who knows if one was actually caught or not. I remember reading something about them stocking a few landlocks in the lake but from what I understand I guess that program ended(also the lake trout program?).

After looking at it again I guess you do. My mistake.....I must have been thinking of Ohio's program which doesn't require proof. Interesting. I'd love to see the pic then or any other info.....

While Kinzua is not regularly stocked with Lake Trout,  at times it has received breeders from the Hatchery at the base of the dam.  I tend to hear more reports of them being caught in the tailwaters.   But I have personally asked and they hatchery guys insist they stock them up above.   when this happens,  There is scattered reports of lake trout catches for a year or better. 
Last year was one of those years. 
as for landlocked salmon, I've heard rumors of them my whole life.  I'd be interesting to see pics.  While your at it, includes pics of huge voids of air beneath the ice that supposedly happen when the water levels fluctuate in the winter.... and bigfoot, and the kinzua nessie... LOL.

Do these 2 look familiar?????? I'd bet it was a brownie that person caught... they significantly lighten up when out in open and deep water and look very similar to an atlantic salmon

I was thinking the same thing as they can/do look extremely similar. But apparently the PFBC approved of it being an atlantic??? fwiw a couple years ago they also passed a big tiger as being a brookie so.....

Yea, the confidence I have in the PFBC, DEP or any state agency who have cut their staff over the last 10 years, is bordering on 0% that they know what they are looking at.

The Kinzua Nessie is properly refered to as Kessie and she is real. Why do you think the Lakers and Atlantics are all gone     :-)
