So anyway..............I've been up to Wilhelm every couple of days or so since ice-off hoping to see a huge die off of the shad and sorry to say, there wasn't one. A few hundred dead ones around the dam and some here and there along the shore line but that's about it.

Trout fishing Sandy Creek this weekend in the town of Sandy Lake the banks are polluted with dead shad. I never saw it this way.
