I don't think the drawdown was because of the dam - it was for weed control???

From what I could find, it looks like it was originally drawn down for dam deficiencies.  Of course, that was 2010, but one of the articles I read did say "pending funding" it would reopen in summer 2012(which usually means winter 12 or spring 13).  I would guess "pending funding"   just never happened?  Here is a link to the original story from PFBC.
