10-11lb at the most. We landed and scaled sum 13-15lbers this year that where way bigger. The one on wall at Gary's is 20 and it dwarfs anything I've ever seen, jus say'IN.

That's the problem, without weighin' em you really dont know. We landed some kings that had to be  close to 30 for sure. Only to gettem on the scale and see they were barely over 20.

first tWo were Lfz September 1992 huge pot of football Browns stacked up behind the church hall which was loaded with an early run of kings. Browns were hammering large shank black estaz streamers. The third one is the definite 12 number from back in 97 first weekend of November. Upper Clay hole when it still was fishable from the north bank. The dark one is a king from late august 97 notice: no one in the background those days are over for sure. The last one was from the same trip in September of 92. That fish was about 6 inches wide just below its shoulders. True monster in my book wish I could have gotten that one on the scale. Two Bob why no love for the lake trout shot? Thanks though buddy without you i would probably just be thought of as someone who talks about fishing lol. Peace and tuna

Keep in mind these were pre hero shots days... we hugged our fish close :)

Maybe it's the angle, but if Dime's fish is a 12, then the fish in the video is a 15....The girth of the fish in the video is MUCH bigger...However, Dime's fish looks longer.

I figured the one I got Sunday as 10+ and it is up there with all of them.  And the males are dense!

Mine was on the scale at Whitakers back in he early 90s or possibly late 80s and was certainly a football- think that football shape adds weight compared to the long more normal looking  ones. Agree that one in the photo was a biggie and likely in the mid teens.
Biggest I ever saw was taken in the Vines bout 3 years ago -looked like a King when it came ashore, saw the crowd gathering  went over for a peek  and was shocked at the HUGE Brown.
I have Terrible luck with Browns - seek them and rarely catch- fun tryin though.

JB, 9 to 11 at the most.
Use to fish there all the time and it doesn't have the girth.
With brownies, there is a large variation in girth among the run so, length can be very deceiving.

I agree 100% with girth vs. Length in brown trout. Take a look at the mouth of the last one twobob posted of mine. If you look close enough you can kinda see the width of its jowls... I honestly think that fish was larger than my 12#... even though it doesn't look it at all... browns come in all shapes and sizes and the football males hold serious weight as lucky mentioned

2 Bob.. nice buck!!!
