Yep.  I say take a camera, take ONLY what you need.  If you know what you're doing, you can always get more.  The two Walleye I've taken the most pride in were 31 1/2" and 33" ladies caught and released pre-spawn in the Allegheny.  Bigger one was just over 10 lbs.  May get a facsimile mount of the 33" if I ever convert the kids playroom to my 'man cave'.  In the meantime, the memory and gratification of watching them swim away better than showing everyone a carcass in a freezer.

awesome, jester.  i never cared to eat bigger walleye, but the fact that you released brood fish in a naturally reproducing fishery speaks highly of your ethics.
