Went out of Walnut run with Iceman Bill looking for some walleye and yellow perch. Started trolling boards and reefs in 63ft with no luck. Pulled lines and ran back in to 54ft and put dipsys and spoons out. We got 9 walleyes and around 2 we decided to do some perchin. Started a slow pick in 58ft. Some guy comes and drops his anchor upwind of us and lets out rope til his boat is almost directly behind us. No kidding. Bill snagged his anchor rope with his sabiki rig. Anyway, we finished the day with 9 eyes and 40 perch.

We were NW of your area and had a similar day...though we used dipsies and harnesses.

Yes chauncy and I had a pretty good day enjoyed fishing with you again Ken. Also learned I need to update a few things I will be prepared next trip for sure. I just love that lake I sure wish I lived closer the drive is killing me!!@!

Eman89so, were you trolling or perching? I remember seeing another lund out there but i cant remember if we were trolling or perchin at the time.

Don't you just love it when boats do that. The whole lake wide open and they get within casting distance of you !
