Lake is totally capped on wed. the 7th. didn,t venture out to check ice , but , may be good by wknd. be safe. wire

I've been on Kahle three times this year and have yet to have a good day on the ice. The fish just aren't there. The fish that I did catch were hitting so lightly that you could barely detect it with a ST. Croix spring bobber. I'd say that the immense fishing pressure that this little lake has seen in the last couple of years has finally taken its toll. It's a shame...
