I roped one today.     I walked a mile or so to my not so secret spot and there was no one in site.  Fished for 2 hours  and got 2 takers.   I landed one.   Probably could have had more action in town, but  just had to get to some new water.    Landing the fish I fought it or a good long time and it was exhausted  and it flopped around a bit on the rocks so I decided to keep it.   It was a bright good looking female and easily over 10 lbs I would guess.    I will have some pics later.   I will get 3 meals out of it.

You mean it's unethical to kill a fish for consumption ? Gosh ..
Good for you Clint !! I made a bad decision and went to schroon lake . Got skunked, er except a smelt I foul hooked in the belly and put on a hook. Oh my lord the outlaws we are.

Don't be so hard on yourself, you did nothing wrong. 

And to the A       Hole that wrote NO PARKING with his finger on the back window and sides of 5 or  6 cars.   I know which truck/trailer was yours so you better watch out.   My car was the last one in line you wrote on,  10 plus feet from a no parking sign.   If I see you there again I will park right on the end and wait you out, I do hold a grudge. 
 

I thought it was the county mounties and the state troopers that made the decision about who is parked illegally?
 
But everybody is getting more entitled everyday....

Eggs were skeined up pretty good, just telling us the obvious.   This will be a late year.

Yes L it is not worth it.   The  DEC placed signs there say no parking in front of the launch or turn around.   There are several generic  (bought at any hardware store)   signs placed in front of the 3 spots to the left of the launch (who knows who put them there), they also say in front of launch or turnaround.   I was clearly not in front of the launch or in the turn around  or in front of the signs (that were not official signs anyway) .       Some A      hole thought it was good to write across the doors and back windows of every car in the general vicinity except   the other guides truck parked just to the right of the launch right in front of the DEC placed no parking signs, in what I guess is the turn around.
