I bet that has lots of the  breath of life  in it.  I use the ostrich herl in the tail of a helgramite fly and a saltwater baitfish that's all white with some flash. They worked fine.  I like rabbit for its movement, but not the easiest to cast, as you know.  I may have to whip a few of  yours up for next year, though they'd probably trip the trigger of some dropbacks, too. Thanks for sharing that. 

There was a post on the Erie board looking for a caption for a pic of Chartist casting a spey rod in a speedo (someone's creative photoshopping).  He took a lot of ribbing from a wide variety of Erie boarders.  It is not up anymore, so I assume someone had some cheese and decided it was also time for some whine! 
 
I'll comment that someone who would be willing to pay 3 x's the going rate to go to Douglaston, but would not buy the NYS non resident license, as he posted when first on this board qualifies as a troll, whether he is using estaz sponge flies or not.

I saw that photoshop and thought it was pretty darn funny, which I mentioned on that board...Not sure what happened to the photo as I didn't complain.  I will buy a NYS one year license next October 1.  I went to the SR much more than I thought this year and fished the public sections.  I always had a NYS license when fishing public sections cuz I know the fish police are out there and active.

 
Fichy for years a secret weapon for bouncers was either a white floating jig head with a bubblegum 3 inch twister tail or a bubblegum floating jig head with a 3 inch white twister tail.
The "Good and Plenty" fly fills that niche when fly flicking.
