Well another post because all is quiet here. Is this the calm before the storm??? Even though it is supposed to be 750 until tomorrow the current reading at Pineville is about 450. Saw some pics of the reservoir from a friend and it has lowered quite a bit in the last coupe of weeks I would say 5 plus feet along the shore. That said it still is well above average for this time of year.

Very busy on this Labor Day weekend. No fishing but I like when the labor involves good friends, lots of food , plenty of cold beer and even some work got accomplished .
Will say , I'm so outta shape because my legs have been killing me from dancing , a LOT :)

Would like to make another lake trip this weekend. I'm pretty tied up the next 2 after that . The weather / winds look iffy though for this weekend. If Ontario is a bust I may just give some local eyes or lake George a shot with the family
Like I said , I'm super busy trying to get some serious projects done before the cold sets in.
The interior of the house is 85% done and hospitable, I'm working on ripping off all the exterior board & batten and re sheathing that. Got to shingle the garage and keep up on next years firewood , we are way behind for next year.
A 30th anniversary blow out on 10/11 ( sorry jack ) and gosh what else will come along too . Well besides more fishing and hunting.
As the days get shorter so does my time .

Yea Clint it looks like a lot of river run fish are staging right out front now. That also creates somewhat of a combat lake troll.
If we go we have a plan to try the west shore of Mexico away from the crowds for browns then head back WAY out for some silver salmon , steelies or coho.
We shall see

I think as this front clears the river will start getting busy.
Yea Rich can't make that date but are you going to join me for a couple days of bank fishing?
