So here is my very vague but possibly accurate report. My camper neighbors have returned from the dsr every day usually by lunch, today did not come back at all and I left the job site at 4 got there at 730. Then on the way to rt13 to hit Duncan and 81 there were many "tards" fishing off the bridge and yanking hard, many boats in estuary some with6 to 8 people on them all working their rods like there was something going on. Hit the hatchery also and the top of the ladder has a very nice amount of steel and hoes in it rest of the ladder pretty much empty, except for the same(I believe) brown that was there in the same spot on the second rise 3 weeks ago, amazing! Have the strong urge to go up tomorrow but will hold off a bit and let this push get to my favorite waters.

Some encouraging news! Hope to see some upriver after the 29th. Jacks' secret spot has to get stocked up. Thanks, John- made my day.

dsr report is very different, I could be wrong though it did not look it.

   I'm headed up tomorrow I will report when I get back. Hopefully get a tug on the line bigger than a chub this time. But either way I will find so quiet water and enjoy the time. Good luck to whoever else is venturing out this weekend. I'm sure the red light district will be glowing when I pull into the lot.

Dsr had some fish this morning but overall slow. A larger holding pool below where I fished seemed to have been holding fish. Nothing moving though. Upstream side of port Ontario. Bridge seems to have quite a few fish in it along with many boats and anglers... Something might happen...

Andy,thanks for the update and keep them coming.I'll be there in about 8 days and I sure hope the run starts this weekend so they get to my "secret" spot by then!

Jack I think that your spot will be holding some fish by then... Got a late morning report from my dad... SLOW... Watched on and off in town for a few hours today to see nothing!!! Folks really have to just fish when they can and hope for the best... Lake reports are still just as scattered as they've been with no large pods conglomerated. Fish being charted anywheres from lower 100' of water up to 500'!!! Eggs are small and tight in anything being caught. The fish i killed a week and a half ago was the same... Small fish with small tight eggs. Those fish boiling above the port bridge this morning are definitely nothing to write home about..

Trying a good chunk of the river. Seen a few more fish than last week. I seen 2 landed by some lifters. Fichy still catching the chubs. Hoping for a better afternoon.
