Lucky is there a perk to getting the license today that I am unaware of? I'm gonna hold off til Friday probably. Not fishing again til Saturday anyways

No its the anti perk of you are caught fishing without the new one starting today.

It says this year they won't even send out the "real"
 license .

Yep , hunting tags take up to 16 days and just print and go for fishing. Dime the only perk is next year it will expire on 10/3 as they are now date to date, not year to year
