24 quarts of pepper squeezin's are in the jars for 2014, now I can maybe get away and fish (Oh, that's right,. I still have to get rid of the old truck.)  Might even be able to get away by Columbus Day, and there might be a few more fish by then.
Thanks for the shots HT, makes me realize that it has been too long since I got my feet wet in the Ausable!  Could make for coin toss problems next spring.

hot tuna
I typically fish the ausable in the spring but must say it was much more challenging and beautiful in the fall. Many more opportunities for larger fish. Our biggest was a 19" bow and quite a few 17" ers. The water was low which I actually liked better because it cut out so much " dead " water or small fish in the shallow flats .There was however plenty of deep holes and runs which is where the big fish are.
Only encountered 2 other anglers in the areas we fished in 2 days and that was a close to roadside spot.
I think from here on , that will be where my fall fishing begins and ends .. So long SR ..

If you were up there for a week or so, it would not be that far to head over to Willsboro or Plattsburg and try for the Champlain salmon.  But it is a 7 hour drive from here!

Getting to be autumn in a hurry.
Leave became a problem with a swung fly.
Ended up closer to bottom bouncing.
