Started out late s I forgot my backpack. Wanted to start at the south side of the trestle, but was paranoid as a few folks have had issues in the lot, one guy getting his windshield wipers stolen twice.   Then I walked in and left one of the middle sections of my pole in the car. Walked back out and decided I was not going to make the walk again.  Left and went up to the Church. There were a few there, but I got  spot I would consider decent at best. Three times in the first hour and a half I break off the leader waaaaay up by the fly line, once right at the  flyline.  Now I have 20# amnesia for the butt where it broke all three times. No pre tied leaders for me so I hand tie the whole leader on site. After the third time I give up and stomp off. Not going to deal with it today. It did not help that I only saw one foul hooked fish the two hours I was there. I am ready for perch through the ice.

Clint,sounds like the SR experience is getting a little old for you,probably need that perch break until March or so.
I'm in Ohio again and MIGHT get out tomorrow.....if I can get out of bed!Was going to go today but just did n't feel up to it,the golden years.

Clint despite this outting you've had a fair share of action this season. Better than many I'd say

Just was not into it today and yes I am ready for some ice. No complaints about my fall though.
