So I am finally home relaxing. Day started out good, but ended bad. Fish were hitting a variety of stuff today, seemed like when I changed up I would get a hit. Sucker spawn in white, pink bead stone fly, small green sedge fly nymph and a variety of colors of steelhead hammers. Less fish  taken in the faster water than in the pool itself. Had a very nice bright fish on and noticed my line was wrapped around the tip and had to break it off. The majority of fish were darker, but every now and then a bright one would show, most fish were good fighters and provided some acrobatics.  Got my car winches out, got my boot fixed and got my pies made. I may go out quick in the am, do not know.

Do you have BOA laces, Clint? Tough day, but nice fish. Hope everyone has a wonderful day. You'll get them next week, Jack.

Yea those cables are $10 a piece. Not too bad to change. Boots are getting a bit best, probably should have just gotten a new pair. Been wanting 1/2 size larger. DB I was thinking of there tomorrow...........

Just a suggestion, Clint, but bring your waders, the socks you'll use and a Hot Feet package with you to get the new boots. Some boots are narrower than others, especially in the critical toe box, and you want to make sure of plenty of room for circulation. Some of the boots I've had have been worthless in the winter because they were too restrictive, even though they were a little over sized.
