Got up  there just after the crack of dawn and above the rock was loaded, but no one else. Settled into my usual spot and the fishing was pretty darn good until about 1000. Then it shut down and you had to work at it hard. Double digit hook ups  for today for me. I fished until about 1230. Got a MONSTER  and I hope the pictures do it justice. Will post back later when I have time.

L the one I should have because it caught like a boot, I thought it was a brown. 1: I wound not know what to look for and 2: Handling the fish by myself I really could not get a good look without potential damage.  Been having a bad day. Cable in my boot broke, watch broke  and to top it all off I slid into the ditch tonight and had to be winched out. Went to Oswego to visit my granny and  was going done a laugh hill.  Slid once going 20mph, 100 yards later slide again going 10mph mph and then slid the final time into the ditch going about 5mph. Nothing hurt , but my pride and my checkbook for the tow. Will post the pics in a bit.

Ouch, sorry to hear that.  You paid some heavy dues for double digits hookups.

You're right about poking around the gills, not easy to do without potential for damage. Doh!

I will separate by fish since you can only get 3 pics per post.
This pic does not give this fish justice, it is easily mid teens or a bit more. I could not get my hand around it's tail to pick it up.  The head is half way up the net for comparison of the others
