We don't have any special times. Long line ( atleast 60-70 yards) some plugs, keep it about 1.3 to 1.6mph. We do well in that close all season. If u wanna drag worms, I'd say 1 to 1.5 ozs of lead on a 3 way, as slow as you can stand. 1.5 mph max. Heck I know guys that just straight drift a worm on a hook or jig head, with a little weight. It's all about the weather and waves. There are soooooo many walleyes in that lake it's disgusting. Pick a 2 ft or less day and go. You won't be disappointed.

Get some threaded minnows and go dahn da Crick. Neshannock shouldn't have more than 2 or 3k trout in it. I know they stocked again this past Wednesday. That water looks perfect today.

Thinking about taking Maggs out this afternoon. Finally get that motor running, at the least. If we go, we'll probably go hit Muddy Creek. Let yinz know how we do.

We did pretty good today. Was really windy but we stuck it out from 1 to almost 6. We didn't kill any, but we coulda brought home a couple dozen. Launch was a zoo coming in but it's 528 whattya expect. Water temp was up to 61.9 back there. I did see alot of boats lined up on that far shoreline way in the back. I'm not a fan of that real shallow. We stay in those weeds that are in 3 to 4 FOW.

I'm too chicken to take my boat back that shallow. I suspect the Crappie will be moving to 8-10 feet of water soon. After the weather normalizes.

There are certain parts of the lake that those 3-4FOW are either right next to 20+FOW or 3-4 IOW...  I may or may not have gotten stuck on the shoals near the dam, maybe 20 years ago to confirm that!  I see someone just about every year as a reminder.  There is a cut through it, but you really got to know what you are doing if your boat isn't low draft.  I may or may not smacked my prop off of the bottom in the area that I think you are noting that you are too smart to venture into...  Again, there is a way to do it, but the channel is usually lined with shore bound anglers that act like whining little girls if you take your boat through.
