Chauncy, I've a feeling things are gonna continue for a while. Weather expected to be crazy hot through the coming week.

Pulled my boat to two launches yesterday (5/24) and kept right on moving.

Snodgrass had vehicles with empty trailers parked in the grass along the driveways, when I went through.

Drove past the Jamestown end of the lake at 11:30 PM today (5/25) and the water was like glass. I was heading to Greenville so I don't know what the Jamestown launch looked like.

Maybe take a ride to Snodgrass later today. Maybe with the holiday weekend coming to a close, pressure might die down.

Stay safe & be well.

Friday snodgrass had 2 trucks at 7am when we launched. Saturday at 6am 1 truck at bay 41. Then by 11 am both days the launches were packed. Bay 41 had ppl parked almost to the road! Conneaut lake yesterday 5 trucks at 730 when we arrived then 15 at 130 when we left. Probably 15 jetskis and 20 cruiser boats on the lake with 10 fishermen. The dock was plenty busy tho when we pulled out.

To all,  Bad news for lil bit restaurant

To all of our Customers (family):
Due to Covid-19 and the uncertainty of when and if we would be allowed to open our door for dine n service, not that we do not want to follow all the rules and guidelines that will have to be put in place, we feel that the quailty of our service to our customers would be very uncomfortable and would affect the pleasant and enjoyable dine in experiance and home cooked meals that you have become accustomed to and expect. It has always been our priority to put the health and safety of you our customers first.
With that being said, we are heartbroken to inform you that we will not be reopening our doors. You our customers (family) have come to mean so much to Al and I. You are all loved and will be missed dearly. We want to thank you for the opportunity in allowing us to serve you and make your time here with us pleasant and enjoyable. We thank you for six great years of laughter and good times. We continue to pray that God will bless and keep you safe during these uncertian times in our lives.
You will forever be in our hearts and prayers,
Teresa and Al

DANG!!! That's truely sad news. LilBit was by far, our favorite place to eat. Always made to feel at home and, in our book, the food was the best in the area.

Will be missed.

So this restaurant is up in God's Country where the virus is nearly nonexistant? Another case of the heavy hand of government exerting control over the lives of the ordinary citizens? Sad that any business cannot survive, but those small town establishments will be sorely missed.

emitch, I'm not being demeaning and only wish to show how unfair Wolf has been, to local business owners.

Less than a 1/8 mile down the road, from the recently "out of business restaurant" people can gather for an ice cream cone and other stuff, but we are not permitted to enjoy a fine home cooked meal "in" our favorite restaurant(s).

Another form of business includes hair salons and barbershops. People can get their hair cut/styled in Ohio but across the state line in PA, we can not.

Just some of many, freedoms of choice taken from us.

Wolf and his finger puppets are the "straw that broke the camels back".

Florida or BUST.

BTW.... got the transmission problem fixed, thanks again for your help. 🍻

Sorry to see them close their doors. They don’t want to take chances on passing this deadly virus among their good friends they feed. God bless them all.

Lots of parking at Espeyville around 5:30ish. Lots of people fishing from the shoreline too, but maybe 5 vehicles with trailers parked in the launch lot.

Nice to see, at the Buckeye beach, people swimming and enjoying a good time.

Not much traffic at the Andover loopty loop and the signs towering over the gas stations said $1.99 which is $.36 a gal. cheaper than in PA and $.13 more a gallon than in Kinsman. Just a bit of FYI for those staying or thinking about heading to Pymatuning State Park.

Hair salon/Barber Shops are open in Ohio & taking reservations but do ask about what to expect when you arrive.

In Ohio I also saw signs on a few eaterys saying dine-in now available. Again, y'all might want to call ahead.

In PA, carry-out is available at participating restuarants and y'all can get dogs, burgers, and cream cones at the dairy isles.
