Yeah water was at 52 today. I thought it was a bit higher than that. Anyone have any recommendations for a good fuel line mine decided to quit functioning today

Wassuup with the fuel line Dave? Leaking fittings, primer bulb, ???

With water temps nearing prespawn, fish the coves and other shallower water on the north sides/ends of the lake. Sun still lower in the southern sky warms the north shoreline first.

Always begin fishing the shallow ends of a lake moving toward the deeper end as those waters warm.

Bass also spawn when water temps aproach mid to upper 60s followed by gills doing their thing.

Walleye, perch, trout like the temps mid 40s.

Now if I can just figure out how to catch the stupid fish.

Leaking at primer bulb. Started right up ran to our spot fine then when we wanted to make our next drift it wouldnt even sputter. Tried the bulb and it was as hard as a rock. Changed connectors at both ends same thing happened. I pulled the fuel line off at the filter and no gas is reaching the motor.

Outasync good Grief that had to suck. You guys finally get out and having to deal with that.

Walmart has some decent fuel lines. I've been running an Attwood for a couple years now with no problems.

Some reason(s) to not get gas from the tank to the motor would be the check valve sticking in the primer bulb and preventing a steady prime; the screen on the pick-up tube in the tank is plugged; a hole or crack in the pick-up tube; the pick-up tube dropped in the tank; orrrrrr the o-ring in the connector at the tank is leaking. Also the tank vent being closed or plugged or the tank is empty.

You said you changed connectors so I'm assuming you changed the supply line end for end and still no luck so no issue with the line hooked-up bass ackwards....

Also, primer bulbs do become brittle overtime and while it may feel like there is a prime, it's actually the bulb is shot.

Soooo, I don't know, but I thought I'd throw my two cents in.

The primer bulb went from soft to totally rock hard and wouldnt soften again until both connectors were off the line. Even with the connectors off it was staying hard. This was an attwood line that was 1 1/2 years old. By the time i got home the bulb was soft again and seemed to function properly

Worked on my boat in the driveway last night.  Motor would run for awhile then quit.  Took cover off and noticed when I would pump the bulb, fuel would leak at the fuel pump cover.  So, hopefully the $15 Amazon version of a new fuel pump will work.  If not, I'll order the cover for almost the same at marineengine.com.
