Anyone fishing yet? The snagging has begun at the spillway

I fished the river below the pymy outflow and tied into a tank on Saturday. Hook pulled out sadly, but it was an impressive fish. Jig and a fathead. Left a few jigs in the timber on the bottom...water was pretty low at the time, but after the rains this week, I'm betting that's not the case at present.

Thinking I'm gonna give it a shot for some panfish on Sunday. Hopefully the fish are thinking the same thing

Kept me posted....last year did fabulous in Stewart's bay.....late March.....some slob crappie,and all the perch you wanted,8.5-12" average....got into a bunch of huge gills one sunny afternoon....8.5_9.5"    I'm ready...

I think im doing the same sunday. See if anything is hanging around the stumps yet. If im recovered enough to handle the boat

Yeah its the loading and unloading the boat that worries me. If nothing else I will hit the river below the dam

Float your boat on and off the bunks if driving on/off isn't practical.

May need to take your hip galoshes to keep your feet dry though. 😁

Yeah depends on the lake level on if i can float it. Pulling and pushing doesnt work to well for me still. Only 2 weeks from surgery so its all still pretty tender and sore
