I hear ya psu, had a little deer mecca behind my house,long story short,Amish logged the land across the road,it was a big parcel 200 acres,they shot 33 deer on the first day 3 years ago,it never been the same. The warden told me all the deer where tagged. Big deal,one guy shots 5 and puts someone tag on it. They killed anything that move from a 40lb doe fawn to a 156 BC buck. Warden told me he feels sorry for them. Even though it's not the same back there they remember and come back once each year and get a few more,but it's the second week of the season so they can bang doe. I've killed one deer in 3 years back there and 8 pts with a bow.
