Yep  I'll keep that in mind.  I don't know if I will look into a float switch for the bilge pump or not.  The raised floor is prolly a couple inches off the keel.  I'm pretty  sure that cover would keep 99% of the rain out.  Since the slip is close to the boat house, it's not a far walk from the parking space.  Two trips and Im sure I could have everything in the boat.  With two people, maybe just one trip   Really kicking this around...just not positive yet

Will there be a fuel pump at the Marina and how much fuel might they be selling? Would imagine the fuel won't be gasohol but it can still get nasty if it sits in a tank over time.

Having to walk to a boat slip helps prevent taking all that gear you probably won't use anyway. lol

Ok  Now that we have the jackazz award out of the way, let me clarify.  Is there an easy way or better method to keep a boat covered or is a snap cover the best option.
Thank you D for your invaluable input.

Glad I could help.  Not the reader's fault the question was written poorly.

No it wasn't.  The question was not " WHAT do I use to cover my boat"  It was "HOW do I cover my boat", implying that some sort of cover will be utilized, just how should it be utilized.  Obviously, the fact that a cover would be used was implied.
You can look that up if you like, but I've spent a few years dabbling in English and Journalism.  Those aren't my weak spots, just mooring boats!  lol

ICE NUT
opsman,
Your cover looks fine mooring is the way to go,im in b38 at Linesville the only drawback is the funk that gets on the bottom of the boat needs cleaned ith slimy grimey or another boat bottom cleaner. I have to pull my boat out every couple months and clean and charge my batteries back up. Believe me the circus at the Linesville launch is bad and to be able to avoid is worth any price. Also if your drining 70 miles to marina you will save enough in gas to pay for your mooring. Any more questions PM me ok.

CAPTAIN HOOK
I never heard of hardly any incidents at the Jamestown Marina with docked boats over the years. Pulling batteries every trip would be a pain. I'd pull the electronics for sure. Got to be a way to lock the batteries in if one was worried. I believe there are cameras set up at Jamestown Marina..... not positive.
That cover should keep all the rain water out.....mine sits out all Summer in the driveway not a drop gets in.

Op's ,you should have pole vents put in the 3 pole areas, that black cover has to hold a lot of heat in.
They would help vent some heat out on those hot sunny days. Got them on my new boat cover two years ago. Something to keep in mind.

Thanks guys.  That's what i'm looking for.  Pros and cons from past experiences.  Ice Nut, we will be neighbors almost...Mines B18.  Of course I still have one more hurdle to jump through.  Since that will be my primary lake of use I will be required to register my boat in PA.  Don't know how that works when I live in Ohio!!
O.D.  Yeah, I figured I would take everything out of the boat except of course the motor.  Wasn't too sure about the battery yet.  I will probably come up with some kind of rolling cart/contraption so I can pretty much wheel any heavy stuff out all at once.
Ice, I have a starter battery and a Deep well Marine Battery, so I guess I could just switch them up every so often and take the other home to charge...

Thanks Cap'n.  Never heard of pole vents.  Will have to Google that.  I was reading somewhere else about heat build up  Glad you brought that up.
