Got in later Tuesday to poor reports from fishermen. Rained HARD at night- likely an inch or more.
Wednesday awoke to showers in the AM and higher dirty water-fished a few hours bouncing around lower mid and saw ONE fish -a King.
Went lower upper Thursday to lower clearer waters and a nice day, finally caught up to the Hos. Two head shakes but none landed or played. Saw a few as they came busting by FAST in ones and twos every fifteen minutes or so for quite a while. Saw ONE more King.
Friday got out in AM to the same area and stayed too long never even seeing a single fish.
Generally lousy fishing and the Circus started to really show up on Thurs PM.
Oh- yea--saw two dead fish- one king and one so far gone couldn't tell what it was. Generally far more deads due to stress by this time even in poor years.
For all the reports think the Ho numbers have been better in the past and the King numbers stink- no Steel seen either.
Oh yea--- the slash and burn guys were ''catching' some as they buzzed by and in large holding areas like Tressel.
It can only get better-I hope.
