For what little fishing I've been getting to do, I'm not seeing many fish caught at all, but I've been limited to the Genny.

Are the ones you are seeing legal fish larger than 25", and are they being kept?

I have seen pics of 3 in the last week that were well above 25".  2/3 were kept I think. One was a female that did not revive well and one was a huge male..

They have been seeing fair numbers in with everything else at Oak Orchard for the last few years.  Down there, they think they are Canadian strays.  FOr what they have been putting in up in Ptown there should be a lot coming back ( 3-400 per year I would think).

I saw more than  just those pics, Clint and I saw a 31" caught in person. In my limited knowledge, it's more than I've seen or heard. Maybe they'll move from unicorn status to, lets say, albino deer. Shouldn't they be more aggressive than the Kings? They also have the potential to get pretty large with multiple trips to spawn. I think that picture of the bright male is the same one I saw, and it was just plain HUGE, about the size of a Kia or Hyundai.

And "on" the church hole it'll be.  Looks dry as hell, with leaves stuck to it, closer to the woods than the water. At least the people in the photos that Clint posted , brought theirs home to eat. You just wasted it. If you want to put up fish porn, don't put up stuff that makes us want to blow chunks. Or put it up on your facebook page, where people don't know better,  Poster boy for the Teenybees?

Clint I've noticed since summer with lake charter reports... From what I've heard more mature Atlantic's are showing than ever... Last year hosted a few spawning pair also. I have heard that they are aggressively trying to find a strain more adaptable to Sr conditions... This is all stuff I "heard" though... No facts to back it
