Gotta fish to catch them lol saw 5 close to the launch today rotting on the shore line. Only fished for 2 hours because the baby wasn't enjoying the white caps. Had a couple bumps on cranks and lost what looked to be a musky.

How did your new rig ride out the gales of September?

Pretty good actually. I was impressed. Going into the waves sucked though wife and I both got soaked lol still getting used to steering a tiller.

The in laws were out yesterday. Took home 50 Erie sized perch and a half dozen big bluegill. Guess I shoulda went that route lol

Dave good deal on the boat handling. Sum them windy days on Pymie do kick up nasty rollers.

Not sure about getting the better half soaked though. Next time you go out by yourself, maybe double check that drain plug. Make sure someone didn't remove it when you wasn't lookin. lol

I was a Pymy last week and the stench of dead fish was bad. I saw probably 100 large dead carp and the vultures were having a field day. Fishing was poor and I caught one channel cat and some small perch. I fished mainly in the south end.  It's sure been a tough year.

I was at the in-laws place this weekend (about a mile south of the causeway on the Ohio side) and they are picking up about 20-30 dead carp a day along the shoreline.  They also picked up a dead 25" walleye. 

I'm here at my camp today went down to Snodgrass and the dead carp are everywhere I counted over 25 on 1 small beach.Went to espyville and along the beach there was no kidding 100 at least!!.The stench is terrible then went to tuttle not quite as bad but still dead fish and it stinks. THE WATER HAS GOT TO BE FULL OF BACTERIA with all the rotting fish. I'm not putting my boat in and if you got lucky good luck anf catch anything I wouldn't eat it!!!

I can't help but question why there has not been any official comment about this from the fish commission. Are there any dead ones on the other side of the bowl? If so, I guess the ducks over on that side will have to learn to swim...
