I fished Wilhelm yesterday. Fishing pressure was light. I trolled most of the morning without any luck. I switched to minnows and ran through 2 dozen in about an hour. Lots of small crappie and one catfish. Baitfish were everywhere. 

yep a lot of smaller crappies but I did manage 16 that made the grade for me anyways the last time I was there.Most keepers were 9"-11" did get a 14" a few weeks ago. Wife doesn't eat the fish so I just get enough for my plate 😜👍 haven't trolled much this year , with all the crap about Pymatuning just have been working Wilhelm . Only takes 1/2 hr to get there vs 1hr to Pymatuning . Thought the bait fish was a lot better then last year,

Yeah I'm an hour from Pymy as well. I'm not a very good crappie fisherman and my hats off to you for finding the bigger fish. Im ready to put a fork in 2017. It was by far my worst year of fishing in years. With the exception of some perch and a 44" muskie the year has been a bust.

Nice Muskie 👍 Got a smaller one last year at Wilhelm only around 29" none this year and yes it has been a tough year for sure. I'll try it a few more times this year and call it done also ... got bow season to keep us going now 😜. Like Crappie fishing just get lucky at times though , most of my fishing is down by the dam on the road side and across from launch 2 , drift the old road bed as I call it from the point 12'-15' with electric motor if no wind been my best spots this year .

I fish that same area and the bay above 2. I'm pulling my deer cams today. Hopefully I see a couple of shooters. Good luck.

Fished Wilhelm today we caught many small to mediun crappies no keepers though.a few perch and gills also nothing of any size but kept us busy small jig small piece of worm or crappie nibble did the trick.only saw 2 boats out on whole lake

I had the same results last week. We need to get the water temperature down. We need rain the creeks up this way are WAY down.

No problem with water temp for me on Pymatuning.
