 Just got in wading Arthur 12:30 am. The top water action was purdy good. Shouldn't be far away for there.

So Thunderpole you say its a bad year already? why is that? As long as I am outdoors,fishing and have half a chance to hook into a fish or two.Im taking a nephew who is 15 and don't want him discouraged.And Arthur what lures you fish there ?Spooks ?Raps? We can get to either place easy enough.the flats I don't know wherethat is, thank you verymuch for the input I will be going to one of the lakes in next two days any other info would be great

Im heading up next weekend, haven't fished Pymatuning in 25 years. Doesn't sound like it's as good as it used to be.  Should the walleye be out on the shallow flats?

I use this map to find flats off of points, main humps, and creek beds.  Not all walleye travel to the spillway to spawn.  A large majority due tho.  They will be in a post-spawn pattern.  You find baitfish (limited supply) you will find walleye.  https://webapp.navionics....3&key=exn%7CF~efjN
