The NYS Department of Environmental Conservation recently published two studies regarding Lake Ontario trout and salmon fishing from information discovered via angler surveys. The report at the link here summarizes the quality of Lake Ontario fishing during the spring of this year (April 15 - May 31, 2023). The second report at the link here discusses a survey New York State performed targeting Lake Ontario tributary anglers for the 2022-2023 season.
