Cool story. Hope it works out for you.

Why would the deer be kicking and biting at the stump? The only time I’ve heard of this if some type of illegal attractant is present.

Not thinking that you did it, but perhaps one of those people on your camera (I’ve found “stuff” in torn up stumps on a property that I used to hunt and I know I didn’t put it there, but someone else did).

And by the letter of the law, not knowing is not a get out of fine card.

I know, it was weird.  I went over and looked at it and nothing seemed out of place.  Just a moss covered, rotting stump.

Liquid deer cane......on the stump...guaranteed. Congrats dardy on the doe. Eyes it's just a matter of time....your sweet in that spot.... I hunted 6:30- 11:20 today.....my woods has really changed.... countless scrapes and a couple of really nice high buck rubs on pop can size trees....I had a B.B. come into my scape and then scent trail me to the blind...lol.  First time I ever played around with EVER CALM....but it seemed to work.....this little joker was looking in the window at 3"...lol.   Without a doubt the dumbest deer there are....but in 2 year a different story.... it's show time .

I put ever calm on my boots and the steps of my treehouse.

The deer I shot on Saturday was on a dead run until it hit where I walked in and it stopped on a dime to smell my track.

Couple buddy's shot some good ones Friday and Saturday, one decoyed his in I tryed his decoy Saturday evening all I did was climb up and down cuz it kept falling over lol......my boy in Montana got his gf on a hammer bull elk 6 miles in 2-3 feet of snow had horses lined up guy backed out, they got the head out but as far as I know the meat is still hanging up in the trees. We are heading out Sunday shot my gun again today trying to tie loose ends up here I talked to him last night he said not to kill anything less then a 26" 4x4 he seems really confident on our scouting and the area we are going hopefully we can get our deer down and head up to fill his cow tag I'd be ecstatic to bring home elk meat to I'd eat good all year I'll make a post when I return - degrees out there now it's gonna be cold! I can't wait
