Good lookin' dogs BTDT.  As for the snow, I wish I was gonna fire up a snowblower after work.  Instead, it will be the 1 manpowered shovel getting fired up

Good luck to those still getting out on the hardwater.  Stay on top...

Thanks Crappie_Slayer, there ain't a day that goes by that I wouldn't give them away, but they'd be returned in less then an hour.  A real pair, so they are.(lol)

Yinz guyz be careful shoveling that white stuff, it's wet and heavy.  Had the ole Horse sweatin, clearing that stuff out of my driveway, so it did.  Can't wait til the saltshaker comes along and plows my driveway in so, I can do it again.

I can't imagine how deep the snow would have been had it been the light and fluffy stuff vs the heavy wet stuff we got.

Smart stick says 10" but, I should of used the one I measure my fish with, it would have said 15".  Snow that is.

I was watching Swamp people while you were busy and one of the new guys made a remark that made me think of stuff you say. He said if there was reincarnation he wanted to return as a weatherman. When asked why he stated that way he could be the dumbest kid on the street and still get a check!!

What's your point Dardy's; you automatically assume a person owning a dog is responsible for having the tails docked?  Sorry dude your  barking up the wrong tree this time.  In both cases the tails had been done before we bought the dogs.  Just so you know, neither dog hunts because they are gun shy and most likely would have been put down just for that reason.  Ever keep a gun shy dog Dardy's?

BTDT,your dogs look great. I know how you fell about them. I had  a super beagle named Scout the dog did everything but talk.He even retrieved rabbits or ring necks. We breed him to a good female and kept a male pup the looked just like him, only thing he was the complete opposite of Scout, dumb as a rock, never chased nothing, but we kept the useless hound for 14 years. Every time I looked at him I saw Scout, treated him like he was a champion. He was part of the family. You need to go fishing, or post one of your amusing tales. lol

Miss the smiley icon?

It was a joke.

I'm not one of those anti tail dockers. In fact, I am a believer in breed confirmity. If the breed is to have tails docked, ears pointed, dew claws removed, or whatever, I'm good with it.

Man, either the weather or the political season has everyone on high alert.

For the record, yes, I did once have a gun shy dog, an English Pointer named Fletch (yep, after the movie character). He was a give away from a preserve. I worked with him for almost a year before he didn't run for the truck at the first shot. (I think they pressed him into service at the preserve way too early and he probably had too many multi gun volleys over his head when he was just a pup.)

BTDT,
DarDys has been busting our(tail less bird dog owners) balls for years. I almost spit my coffee out when I read it. I will admit though them critters he has are pretty impressive for having tails. :)
