About 1100 miles from NW PA, but thought you guys might enjoy some pics from my trip to the Gulf of Mexico in Mississippi last week.
 
My buddy John and I got a 4 hour charter from our families for Father's Day for bull redfish and sharks.  We got on reds right away and got our limits within the first hour.  I've never fought such a hard fighting fish before.  We loved it, but I did find myself wishing that we were doing a little more active fishing and less just reeling in after the Captain and his mate did all the baiting and casting.

Nice pics..........just curious are those Channel Bass ( Reds ) any good eating ? Always see everybody on TV tossing them back.

Reds are probably my favorite fish to eat.  Usually one of the most expensive dishes at restaurants along the Gulf Coast.  Very sought after table fare down there. 
 
In Mississippi, there is a slot limit of 18-30" on reds.  You can keep two in that range, and one over 30". Most of the shows I see where they're catching reds is in Louisiana.  They have a limit of 5 per day I believe, with only one over 27" so I would imagine that's why you see most of 'em going back in.
