Have any of you guy's have/had problems with these fish scales?? I have two and they both BITE not being even close to real weight. First one worked for a few the now every thing weighs 9 pounds and a few ounces. Just bought a new a couple weeks ago and this is pretty much the same thing. And yes tried new batteries same results . Of coarse threw the reciept away.

We have a couple and haven't had any issues...once in a while we will weigh a new bag of sugar or flour by hanging it in a grocery bag just to check that it is still pretty close. Has been accurate on checks, but I usually just measure in about half pound increments, so it suits us.   

Test your scales and re-calibrate (if possible) using water.  1 gal.= 8.34 pounds (avg.).  Add or subtract amount of water to achieve different weight.
 

I've had mine for almost 20 years and no problems.

Is that tap water or bottled?

That depends on what your calibrating the scales for;  a BASS tournament or, bragging rights on FishUSA forums.  From what I gather your tap water is probably, by far, purer then that stuff purchased in them recycled plastic bottles.  Therefore your tap water would be a hair(red) lighter  10-4?
 
You gettin bugged by that stupid Windows pop-up since you re-installed Windows 7?  I've gotten two phone calls, yeah phone calls, about why I dropped "10".  Could hardly tell what the dude was saying he had such an accent so, I didn't understand his answer when I asked him how the (explicit) did he get my phone number.  I did understand him saying "have a good day, sir... click".

I keep getting the pop up but not phone calls. I'm sure when they kidnap windows 7 they have. any and all information your files contain.

only had 1 scale from them and it never worked out of the package, returned it an got a different brand
