Thanks for the flowers fellas, I appreciate it. It's been almost a year since I've been on the water and I plan on making up for lost time. Got to try out a brand new never been used before, rod and reel which I bought as a Christmas present for my wife. (Hey, it works(I think😜))

All fish were caught using a red & white spider or a red and white bucktail jig from my screwed up personnaly tied, collection of jigs.

Fish were not aggressive in hitting the baits for the most part. As with jig fishing, keeping the line taught, led to "feeling the weight" of the fish.

Sorry, no spot burning even though I know, my secrete would be safe here on the boards. However, I will say, some area lakes do heat up, well before others.

In closing, with regard to the fish (can you believe it?) I caught, may I just say...... stupid fish!

Didn't catch them wading thunderpole, but my spot was on fire today. The black dog and I found a few friends to have over for dinner. Would've been done an hour earlier, but somebody left their net skills at home for 3 nice fish.

Couldn't resist trying again this afternoon after yesterdays outing. Wind and fishing was pretty slow when I got there, but finally got a decent breeze and it was on. Had one hot hour of fishing, then the wind changed and I lost the fish. Tried like he'll, but couldn't manage #6. Tight lines!
