Harvey gonna whack the Gulf Coast of Texas. Weather dude say Hurricane gonna practically stall just after making landfall and could last day(s) dumping as much as 4 foot of rain inland. 30 inches expected in Houston.

A 12 ft storm surge is expected along the coast.

Big high pressure system to the north will be responsible for Harvey stalling.

Storm now a category 4 and the eye is expected to make land fall around midnight.

Early today a FoxNewsWeather dude was reporting from a beach dressed in a blue condom getting all Hollywood about, people being on the beach, taking selfies blah blah dangerous yakity no one should be out there smackity.

I sure hope he had his depends on tight cause while he was doing his drama queen dance, from behind, comes this chic and hands him a sixer of Galveston Beer.

The look he got on his face says he better have his Depends on real tight.

Anyway, thoughts and prayers to all caught, by this very powerful storm.

Listening to rescue operations underway in Galveston County Texas. One report has the water 4ft deep very fast current.

One unit reported 22 people on board with one having labor in progress. Other problems include children and adults with special needs.

A guy just can't imagine the scenario unfolding in the areas affected by Harvey.

Dispatch just reported a woman calling with water up to her neck. Rescue boat just launching in area will respond once launched. Rescue units using cell phone GPS locate addresses.

More boats just called for, high water trucks and other rescue vehicles are reporting neighborhoods becoming impassable from high water. Also streets are blocked by stalled passenger vehicles.

More reports coming in of people standing in high water. 4 elderly now up to their necks. Coast Guard now preparing rescue by helicopter and 4 air boats have just launched. More reports of areas becoming impassable by vehicle because of 4 plus ft of water and stalled vehicles.

Areas where people could have evacuated by foot or automobile now in need of highwater vehicles.

Fox News showing similar conditions in Houston. People wading waist deep in water. Vehicles stalled blocking highways. Along with reporters doing the drama dance all dressed in their blue condoms. Reporters act more frenzy stricken than the residents. Stupid reporters.

Scanner reports major traffic backups imminent.

Mopars our prayers are with the people and emergency responders being hit by Harvey.

My daughter and son-in-law moved two weeks ago from Conroe and headed to western Texas, Whew!!

Conroe is just north of Houston, pretty sure they would have been scurrying for sand bags.

Now we have a structural fire reported, more 'can't get to's', rescue and transport vehicles caught in back-ups. Latest incident is buses carrying residents from a nursing home unable to reach a safe haven.

Nothing like waiting till the last second to heed evacuation recommendations....... eh?

But than again, seeing and hearing reporters dressed in their blue condoms doing a drama dance at the drop of a hat doesn't help either. People tend to ignore warnings because of the "cry wolf" syndrome practiced by these clowns. Especially that "Weather Channel" bunch of idiots. Stupid idiots!!!

Kudos to the local, county, state, federal officials and responders for their quick response.

Rained a bunch and hailed at my place in mosiertown. Was told the tornado hit rolling fields in conneautville. Not that there would be a good place for one to go through, but to hit a nursing home is extra chitty. Hope everyone is safe now.
