I was given a brand new wonderod yesterday. Still in the original bag. I've heard these mentioned many times on these boards over the years, but have never seen one that wasn't beat or broken. It appears to be a "newer" model from the little research I did, like mid to late sixities(or later?). Thinking of putting a Mitchell 300 on it and hanging it on the wall. I have a couple of the old french models and the next generation after that. Should I not fish this rod due to condition/value? Which reel do you think would be better on it?

Fish it.. Either Mitchell  would be nice..To big for panfish...nice bass size outfit..
