erI visited town today on the way to getting my boat. Had limited time. It's getting crowded. The town pool was a circus , but there were good numbers of fish in there. Got an hour in and nothing for me but the bill for my motor

I went up to sandy pond about ten miles north of the estuary. Reiters
marina. There are a few up there I use depending on wait time. It was tough to find someone this time of year. No one would take it except them.

Friday I too saw tons of HO's on the LFZ while there, but contrary to their reputation for being aggresive hitters they would n't hit anything I tried.Sat. I fished the UFZ for a couple hours and saw no fish in the river or on the line, there are a FEW up there but not as many as I thought there should be considering the LFZ and the hatchery is loaded! Why they are not going to the Upper zone I don't know but I got tired of the whole thing and packed it in and drove home today, the businesses up there will not see any more of my money this year.I think the WARM water temps is effecting the bite and looking at the weather forcast that's not going to improve soon.

The 'bite' seems real good in the low end.
Guy reportedly went 8 for 10 today and of course there was that 20 for 100 recently.
Sorry they weren't active for ya Pafisher.
Nice to have Coho around though.
Agree its odd for them to be so tight lipped.

20 for 100 and you think that reflected the "bite". We got the opposite of a Chinese river here, they have the Yangtze, we got the SeeYank! Lots of people working for the telephone company listenin' to Glenn Campbell !
But it sounds like there has been a good run to date if there are that many fish in the SR section of Beaverdam Brook, which extends to at least the driftboat launch!
