Could you expand on this? Who is LE and who did they arrest someone for and what was the crime?

Aside from the obvious anti social criminal idiots living there -WHERE the heck are local zoning laws.
Those photos IMHO DO NOT show a liveable dwelling.
When I bought my place a number of years ago up there I took many many many loads of junk to the transfer center for disposal.
How long does it take for ALL the fabric and stuffing to completely rot out of a mattress thrown alongside the 'yard' in the woods?
When mowers have their final cut and break why are they left in the yard, on that breakdown spot, for trees to grow around them?
I could go on--aside from a complete gut rehab of the inside the yard rehab took me a couple of years.
In the end it was pretty nice all around.
When riding around and seeing 'things' though I often wondered where the heck is a reasonably enforced local zoning statute concerning unregistered vehicles and general litter-not to mention dozens ( or more) full big green garbage bags thrown a few feet  from the door.

That one looks good compared to some of them up there.  Take a ride up the Hogs Back Road if you want to see a bad one!  
 
I have yet to figure out why I have to keep a dog on a leash and use a poop bag, but I can run my horse and buggy all over Oswego County without a butt bag on the horse!

There was ONE place like that in a nearby town and one day, when the owner was away -it burned.
Heard the neighbors had complained for years with little to no satisfaction.
AS much as I really like the River area and its people -those places are all to frequent.
Could never understand it.
