I fished a little bit yesterday on my pannie lake with the noodle rod. Caught a mess of gills, perch a smallmouth and a bullhead . My trail cam out behind the house is on fire with game.. Yes , so it begins ..  Heading to the Ausable river this weekend for a last trip on stream trout..
Not going to make any adventures to the SR in September, just to much going on..
The Dates I can meet up with folks are Oct 1 &2 possibly stay the 3rd also..
Again anytime during the week of oct 15th for a few days..

I have most weekends through October. The week of the 9th off, but I will be in Black lake catching crappie M T W.  Rich I can try for Sunday  10/1

I'll be there 9/27 to 10/4,then back again on 10/16 to ??? DSR is reporting another heavy push of fish,the river should be full of fish by now from what has been reported.

A lot of those fish get removed from the river relatively quickly!   Word I heard is here and there upstream, or you can go down to the ballpark and join the circus!

I would assume both fly zines are holding a good amount of fish
