Not a shot in the world. Right now Oil Creek is at 1600 cfs, more than double what is normal for this time of year. It is going to start raining at 1:00 am opening day and literally storm all day through the night. I'd be shocked if Oil wasn't at 2000+ on Saturday at 8 am and 3000+ on Sunday. You can't even step into the streams or catch a drift at those kinds of levels. Even the smaller feeder streams will be blown out into next week, and it's supposed to rain that whole week too. We won't see most trout streams in NW PA fishable until late April or early May.
I have a pretty good hunch this is going to be the worst opening weekend for trout fishing in 30+ years. I'm totally bummed out right now!
