My wife and I are doing a day trip to Pymatuning  and we are not familiar with any of the eateries. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Dave.

Get the Prime Rib sandwich at Scooters on the Ohio side of the causeway. Add hot peppers , if you like them.
Love it.

The Spillway Inn near the fish hatchery is under new ownership (new name too, can't remember what it is called now) and I hear they have good food too. Or if you like Barbecue, Voy River in Linesville is really  good. Love their brisket.

"Lil Bit" PA side of the causeway. Only time I been sorry was today, when I stopped in and learned they are closed Wednesday and Sunday. 😡

Also a tad further east on 285 on the north side look for the sign that says "bite me". 😄 You'll find it at the Country Side Restuarant.

Dont forget to stop at Yorkies for your favorite frozen treats. 👍

Just don't get the turkey sammich with gravy at Lil' bit, or at least ask to taste the gravy before ordering it. Had it once and haven't been back, it was terrible. But I should know better, they are known for their breakfast, not the turkey sammich.

Howdy howdy Roy. 👋 Can't say as I ever tried the gravey.

Maybe try sum on their fresh cut fries next time I stop. Cept it's gonna be tough stayin away from the malt vinegar. lol

I'll definitely be trying one of them Prime Rib sammiges at Scooters too.🍻

+1 for the country side in espyville. Nice folks and good food.

I believe the old spillway inn is now called the broken paddle (or something along those lines). Haven't been there yet, but a guy at work and his wife have been a few times and say it's great. Not the cheapest joint around from what I know though.
