I empathize with that HT.  This is perhaps the longest stretch I haven't fished in as long as my memory. I've been on a number of mountains looking down on the lake with snowshoes and crampons, but not on it. First fishing for me this year may be at Lees Ferry on the Colorado after we spend a week down in the wilderness section of the G.C. first week of April.   I'm getting the urge, but may not pull the trigger on a spring trip to the SR. Hope you have one of those little poles  in an extreme bendo soon. If not, you're happy anyway- all that counts.  Best of luck....

The fog this morning really screwed us up so we parked atv for an hr until lifted.
Once again I'm getting the kick in the ice.
Brother in law lost 3 I can't buy fish.
At least it's beautiful to be in the outdoors

Ohio is kinda out of my reach. Tried to get wife to go to Virginia today but that was a slam of the door so I went fishing instead.
Finally a trout on the ice here in lake George. 3 miles up. 65 fow and 14" ice

Hear you Rich, I would have driven up north if not for the all day High School BBall binge I am watching today and tomorrow . Even up there is getting sketchy. I will hit the river next Sunday or Monday High water or not

Staying over at my kids house up here and back out tomorrow with atv on a different lake (schroon).
Yes Jack, I do need a change of water. Moving and me standing would be nice. My back is toast from sitting and staring all these days.
It's just so darn addictive though and only comes once and goes quick.

Today was the day. One for the memories.
I'm toast after 6 out of 9 days chasing Lakers. Can't wait to next February!!
