While growing up in Ellwood City we spent many days swimming naked in the "Connie" below Ewing Park.  Might not have done so knowing that a toothy 41 lb fish was checking out a potential snack.  There are plenty of  areas from the Ellport Bridge down to the Beaver River that could hold and feed a large fish.

there's definately some toothy critters in the Connequenessing.....the weight of that musky must have been off a bit...i just caught a 47 3/4 " and it weighed 25lbs even. some of them muskies are locked in the creek and definately some run in n out of the Beaver. ton of bait and other fish in there for forage....
