Watched the news last night that showed 4-5 people on a pontoon
being rescued. The waves were smashing the dam and this boat was
beached at the spill over by the dam. Now I wonder where their brains were.
They said that the motor wouldn,t start and were at the mercy of the waves.
Geez...the wind was howling here.

ya just got to wonder, what the hell would they want to go out in that kind of wind??? from the video it looks like about 2-4 footers that couldnt have been fun from the start... and maybe next time they go out they will grab a few life preservers. be safe out there

the boat got stuck on the causeway not the dam but they were still stupid for being out there in the first place.

Whoever did give them a boat should have provided lifepreservers right? Either way, there aren't many things to do on a lake like that. Joyriding!!

Pymie is a killer. People should take it as serious as Erie the way it can whip up and quick.

I had an uncle and his duck hunting partner both drowned in late October in the early 70's. Didn't find him until Christmas! He was an avid outdoorsman and no wimpy guy. Needless to say I respect Pymie ever since then.

With kids! Thank God they are as lucky as stupid.

They definatly did not have any boating experience or they wouldn't have been out there in the first place, and who ever rented the boat should be fined.

If that was a rented boat, there should have been life jackets with it! They need to look at who rented them the boat, and fine the hell out of them!
