well today was not one of my better trout fishing days.. I managed only 1 small Brook Trout. On Sunday our club stocked three hundred Brown Trout in the area I was fishing today but I could not get one to "take the hook". They would follow everything I threw at them but would actually not "hit" ANYTHING ... STRANGE ??.. not had a day like that before in a long time... water was still high and fast .. but who knows why they would not hit... that's why it's called fishing I guess
I wish I would have had some live minnows, that may have been the ticket for today... looks like no fishing again for a few days = RAIN and work will put a halt to that
