Got 4 eyes last night. I keeper around 20", three cigars. Lost one real nice fish. Sunset was picture perfect. So clear. Didn't stay too late had to get to bed for morning gobblers.

Fished Pymy today for a few hours late am/early afternoon.  We caught about 25 perch in 8 to 11 feet of water... Just got done carving them up with the fillet knife.  Perch averaged about 8 or 9 inches with a few nicer ones mixed in.

Fished the north end Saturday evening from 5-9. Picked up 8 eyes with 7 coming in the last hour and a half. Only 2 keepers, next year looks great already. 9-11 ft of water at 1.5 or so. Everything came trolling fire tiger Hot N Tots. Picked up 3 big crappie and a nice bass as well. Had a friend fish the south end all day Sunday starting at 6 am with 1 partner and got 24 eyes. Also trolling but he said any color Hot N Tot with chrome/blue bars being the best. Same speed. They managed two limits of barely keepers.

It was great to do some trolling again and a couple doubles sure got me back in gear.

Heard of a couple muskies mid week but the muskie fishing in general has been slow.

imo mothers day weekend has always been the best walleye weekend and memorial day weekend has always been the best musky weekend. just sayin'

Fished the south end Saturday and caught 22 crappies. In 15'-23' of water.  I always did better in late June and early July trolling for the suspended eyes.

No the water hasn't started to come down yet.  I was out today and it's still extremely high!!!  It's going to be awhile before it starts to drop...

As of right now, and with the rains all week but thursday and saturday, the only one with the dock in is the causeway.  There is still 10+ foot of water between dry land and the actual dock.  The others are not back in yet, they pulled them I'm guessing because of the high winds a few days ago?...You can launch at any of the ramps, just bring waders or at a minimum hip boots to launch...The causeway you may be able to get away with just knee high boots, but I would still recommend something slightly higher.  If the other docks go in before thursday, I'll let you know.

I got into some nice fish yesterday...  North side of causeway with road runner tipped with minnow...  23 crappie and 3 walleye...eyes were 19, 21 and 23 and crappies were 11+ with most being 13 and 14...All in all a good day and nothing beats nice eyes on an ultra-lite.
