THEY ARE THERE ALL WINTER LONG. FIND THE WEEDS AND EDGES.. THEY ARE THERE.. TRY GOING SMALLER LIKE USING TROLLS TO LURES FROM RAPALA ON THE DROPOFFS. FIND 10 FT OF WATER, THROW THEM OUT OFF THE DROPOFF, AND REEL BACK TOWARDS THE WEEDS.. BEST COLORS BY FAR ARE PERCH AND BLUEGILL. I KILL THEM ON THE DIVES TO/TROLLS TO CRANKBAITS. PERCH AND BLUEGILL... FORGET THE SPINNERS... I'VE HAD SUCCESS FOR YEARS WITH THESE TYPES OF SMALLER CRANKS IN THE EARLY SEASON. HAVING SAID THAT, THEY WILL STILL SLAM YOUR BIG PLUGS, BUT YOU NEED TO BE TROLLING. MY BOAT WILL BE DOCKED UP IN THE NEXT 2 DAYS OR SO, FEEL FREE TO HIT ME UP FOR SOME FISHING WADE...
