Fished eaton yesterday caught 40 crappie from 4-8 and fished it to day from 4-7 and caught 26 crappie all 10" to 13" on fat heads.

Any pike caught? I am thinking about taking the canoe out there tomorrow and giving it a shot.

PIKE ????? They are every were, I could not keep them off my bait they were hitting little fat heads and taking my hooks. Get out there and make their mouths sore so they won't eat my bait. I caught five pike first day and lost many and caught three second day and lost two.

Are boats allowed on Eaton?  If so is there a horsepower limit?

Yeah, electric only, I don't think you would want anything else there, it is so small. I usually do well out there with the pike and bass, just wanted to know if they were hitting well fishinvic, I guess they are! Thanks!

Yeah I have been catching pike there since the middle of march.

Fished for 4 hours Saturday morning, 1 bite, nothing landed.

90% of the pike out there are "hammer handles" that i have caught i think i got a 32" and a 36" and that is it for a long while. but the crappies would be fun i have never fished for them out there off of a boat and would love to but just dont have the time to search for them. if anybody would like to trade some info on where i could find a few at pm me and i would be glad to put you on some "hot" spots that i fished at the last few days.

Fished saturday from 3pm till dark and caught some nice gills for the basket but the crappie were small and few, dont know if the cold shut them down or they moved out, even the pike did not hit our bait like they were. Did take the grandkids to lakeplesant in the morning for our annual inseason stauking trip, the kids have alot of fun putting the trout in and watching them swim all over,they did get to catch some trout but that was before the truck got there.
